In addition to being First Lady of the Mount Horeb Baptist church family, her greatest joy is being the proud mother of Troy Sr., their only child; Dawn, her Daughter-in-law (who is more like a daughter), and being the loving and adoring grandmother (that she is) of three very handsome, intelligent, gifted and talented grandsons – Troy Jr., Julian and Quentin; each one of them are well on their way to doing great things in their chosen fields of work, and in the world.

Christ has accomplished all and justified me; therefore, I live for Him out of gratitude for His finished work in satisfying God’s wrath and sealing my salvation. I must do whatever is allowed by God to reach others with the gospel and to cultivate growth in them to maturity in Christ. Furthermore, I seek to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. “Everyone has a ministry” is the mentality all Christians must possess. Finally, evangelists are who we are as Christians; meaning that evangelism is more than just something we participate in once a week, month, year, or lifetime. Rather, we should participate in evangelism on a daily basis as we take the name of Jesus with us”.
